Newburn Activity Centre is situated fifteen minutes away from Newcastle City centre on the banks of the River Tyne in the beautiful Tyne Valley.
We offer a wide of activities that will appeal to novices and experts, children and adults, either individually, groups, families or schools.
Indoor activities boast a climbing wall 12.5 meters high with automatic belays for the single climber, a three tiered soft play area, the very impressive Impulse fitness suite with supporting Fitness classes and Crèche and a range of traditional activities from Badminton to football to trampoline!
Oh and the famous Elswick Harriers athletic club and Newburn Judo club train here as well!
Outdoor activities include bike hire for routes in the virtually traffic free country park and all manner of water sport activities, Bell boating Kayaking, Canoeing, Raft building we even have two speedboats that can accommodate wheel chairs and special needs groups for visit to Newcastle quayside or fast runs from our ramp.
And if you want to get away from City we have overnight accommodation in our Log cabin at nearby Kielder water where you can do all manner of adventurous activity from waterfall jumping to navigational skills
